At the same time, we understand specifications, submittal workflows, coordination requirements, and schedule pressures. With over two decades of commercial construction experience, Lee brings an operator’s mindset to the signage and Division 10 trades. After years serving as a principal in the commercial door and hardware industry, he understands firsthand what general contractors expect from their subcontract partners: clarity, accountability, and follow-through.
Lee acquired Art Dose, a 27 year Chicago commercial signage subcontractor, and now leads the company as The Hava Group. His objective is simple: operate a signage and specialty products business with the same discipline, responsiveness, and execution standards expected on complex commercial construction projects.
He is focused on building a durable, well-run company that earns trust project after project.
The Hava Group is the next chapter of Art Dose, a 27 year Chicago commercial signage subcontractor. We combine established design and code expertise with construction driven execution to deliver signage and select Division 10 scopes for complex commercial projects.
WHO WE ARE
The Hava Group was formed following the acquisition of Art Dose, a 27-year Chicagoland signage company.
Our objective is simple: combine strong sign design capability with disciplined construction execution to deliver signage and Division 10 specialty products the way commercial projects are meant to be managed.
The company is led by Lee Menn, bringing over two decades of commercial construction leadership experience and a practical understanding of specifications, submittal workflows, scheduling, coordination, and field execution.

Art Dose
Art Dose was established in 1998 to bring a “dose of art” into everyday spaces through thoughtful signage. Over nearly three decades, the company completed projects for general contractors, developers, and property managers across the Chicago market.
In 2025, Art Dose was acquired and now operates as The Hava Group. The legacy design expertise remains, now supported by a more construction aligned operating structure and expanded leadership.
